    WordPress Origin Story

    It all started when I was maintaining WordPress sites for local businesses in Toronto’s Japanese community. Fixing the same security issues over and over on client sites made me want to build tools that solve the problem properly instead of patching it each time. That’s what led to my current plugin work.

    Key Accomplishments

    Maintained WordPress infrastructure for Toronto's Japanese business community for over a decade, combining bilingual client communication with hands-on security and performance work.
    Developed WP Private Gate, a WordPress security plugin implementing site-wide authentication, REST API/XML-RPC lockdown, and IP-based brute-force protection — submitted to the WordPress.org plugin directory.
    Built and shipped Parlour, a Laravel 11 + Vue 3 client approval portal with tamper-proof audit logging, deployed to production and published on GitHub.
