    Bio

    Diana is a WordPress Designer & Developer who loves blending aesthetics with functionality. As a queer in the tech industry, she advocates for inclusivity in tech and volunteers to teach out-of-school youth about web and graphic design, empowering them to create and potentially earn a living from their talents.

    Despite having dyslexia, Diana’s love for math led her to pursue a graduate degree in Information Technology and actively doing research in Geometric Deep Learning. This field aligns perfectly with her passion for design, which she views as akin to creative design. This structured creativity infuses every project she tackles as she strives to make the digital world a more beautiful and inclusive place for everyone.

    Interests

    Outside the four edges of her screen, Diana enjoys touching grass in the golf course, aiming to pursue competitive tours with the Women’s Golf Association of the Philippines if her career in tech flops. Otherwise, she’s also considering a career in a professional kitchen if her golf dreams doesn’t work either.

    WordPress Origin Story

    In 2018, she co-designed the first WordCamp event in her local community in Iloilo and has been passionate about the digital industry ever since.

    As she delved into the industry, Diana adopted a dog and named him Website, who is a “pup-fessional” WordPress Designer & Developer. He’s a very fur-iendly paw-worker, though he often sleeps a lot and enjoys break time more than working. 😁
