    WordPress Origin Story

    I first encountered WordPress while searching for an alternative CMS when Wretch, a well-known Taiwanese BSP, was about to shut down. That exploration led me to WordPress, and since then, it has become an integral part of my work and community engagement.

    In 2018, I attended my first WordCamp in Taiwan as a general participant. Since 2019, I have been actively organizing and hosting Taoyuan WordPress Café (Taoyuan WordPress Meetup), fostering discussions across various aspects of WordPress, from development to content creation, design, and marketing.

    My involvement in the broader WordPress community includes being a Speaker at WordCamp Taiwan 2021 and serving as an Organizer for the Sponsor Team and Local Team at WordCamp Asia 2024. Beyond in-person events, I have been an active member of the WordPress Taiwan Facebook Group, frequently engaging in discussions, answering questions, and sharing insights to support local users.

    Since WordCamp Asia 2024, I have had more opportunities to connect with WordPress contributors and enthusiasts from different countries, exchanging insights and continuing the collaborative spirit that drives this global community.
