I’m a musician and a programmer. For years I was hard on myself when it came to programming as I was not a natural and have had to work over the course of 15+ years now; but truly struggled in the first 5 years — I found WordPress because I got lucky tbh. I had accepted a contract, spent the first two weeks doing EVERYTHING I should NOT have done, including making architectural decisions and revisions, redesigning their intranet home application, and adding the latest and greatest libraries because I could …… (ah, year one was a trip) Anyway, having backed myself into a corner and with one week to go before a deadline back in 2009 I chose to land on WordPress for a CMS to build a theme from and after having been saved by WP, after that gig I dug a little more into WordPress, and a little more, and then started exploring the community and the rest is history.
