WordPress Origin Story

Our journey started with a simple idea: every WordPress website should be able to connect with people around the world, regardless of language.

As WordPress grew into the world’s most popular website platform, we noticed a common challenge among website owners. Creating a multilingual website often requires complex setups, expensive solutions, or technical expertise. Many businesses wanted to reach international audiences but struggled with translation tools that were either too limited or difficult to manage.

That’s where WTranslator was created.

We began by focusing on a better way to translate WordPress websites — combining automatic machine translation with modern AI-powered technology while keeping the experience simple for everyday WordPress users. Our goal was to build a translation solution that works naturally inside WordPress, allowing users to translate their websites without changing their existing workflow.

Over time, WTranslator evolved into a complete multilingual platform supporting 248+ languages, SEO-friendly translations, indexed language pages, translated URLs, automatic hreflang implementation, and advanced translation management features.

Unlike traditional translation methods that only replace text, WTranslator focuses on helping websites grow globally. By creating SEO-ready multilingual content, businesses can reach new markets, improve international visibility, and provide better experiences for users across different languages.

Today, WTranslator continues to innovate at the intersection of WordPress, AI, and multilingual SEO. From bloggers and freelancers to agencies, WooCommerce stores, and global companies, we help thousands of websites break language barriers and build stronger connections with their audiences.

Our story began with translation… and it continues with every website we help become truly global.
