WP Travel Kit began with a frustration our founder, Mohammad Tajim, watched play out again and again in Kathmandu. Trekking outfits and tour agencies ran world-class expeditions, yet their websites — if they had one — couldn’t take a booking or even load on a phone.

A developer by training and a traveler at heart, Mohammad started building WordPress themes tailored to how travel businesses actually work: destinations to show off, itineraries to explain, and a booking flow that doesn’t scare people away. The first free theme found its audience on WordPress.org faster than he expected.

What started as a side project became a mission. Instead of chasing every industry, WP Travel Kit committed to one: travel. Every theme, plugin, and template we’ve shipped since is built for agencies, tour operators, and travel bloggers — nobody else.

Today a growing team in Nepal supports thousands of travel businesses across the globe, and the goal hasn’t changed since day one: make it effortless for anyone selling a journey to look the part online.
