    WP Hosting delivers first class infrastructure and services to our WordPress customers.

    We are located in Oslo and Stockholm and our customer base is mainly Scandinavian companies.

    Our hosting services are built on top of Amazon AWS. We use many of their services to provide a fast, secure and flexible hosting environment.

    WordPress Origin Story

    We created our own CMS and ecommerce solution in 2003 and also created our own hosting platform. Since we were a small team it got harder and harder to compete with the different open source solutions.
    In 2010 we gave up, and did an evaluation of Drupal, Joomla and WordPress. Which to choose?

    Our main concern was ease of use for our customers, and we chose WordPress because it had by far the best user interface.

    However there were issues with WordPress at the time. Both security and performance were problematic. So we decided we wanted to solve these issues for our customers.

    Since then our focus has been support, security and performance for WordPress.
