    Bio

I’m a WordPress developer from Switzerland with a lifelong passion for programming.

Starting with Basic on C64, then Amiga, and later exploring Visual Basic on Windows 98. My journey led me to create websites with HTML, PHP, and JavaScript, particularly in the Joomla 1.5 era.

After taking a break, I returned with a balanced approach, dedicating half my time to horses and the other half to the computer.

Proficient in PHP, HTML, and JavaScript, and with WordPress.

    WordPress Origin Story

After becoming frustrated with Joomla’s open-source platform due to its update issues and lack of backward compatibility, I transitioned to WordPress development in 2017. My journey began with creating a style manager plugin, which I eventually discontinued as it became too large and complex.

In 2024, I launched my website, WPConstructor.com, where I focus on creating multiple WordPress plugins. My passion for programming and commitment to open-source development drive my work. I find joy in building tools that help others, contributing to the community, and enhancing the WordPress ecosystem.
