Bio

Hi, I’m Almas Zaman from Bangladesh and I work in information security; focused on vulnerability research, application security, SAST and exploit development. I enjoy bringing that security mindset into the WordPress ecosystem through practical, community-friendly work: testing, reporting issues, fixing bugs, improving documentation and sharing security best practices with developers and site owners.

I’m also the founder of WPAuditor, a SOC-style monitoring plugin for WordPress focused on real-time attack visibility, event logging, and faster investigation and response.

WordPress Origin Story

I first discovered WordPress in 2010, which was my introduction to the world of content management systems. After a long break I returned to WordPress while working at Ollyo, where I began engaging more deeply with the platform. This marks my second phase of working with WordPress. This time with a strong focus on security and building tools to make WordPress more resilient.
