Bio

I started working with websites more than 10 years ago, when managing a website often meant dealing directly with HTML, PHP, databases and hosting servers.

WordPress gradually became a bigger part of my daily work because it gave clients something extremely valuable: the ability to manage their own content without turning every small change into a development request.

Over the years, WordPress went from being one of the tools I worked with to becoming the foundation of a large part of my work.

Today I work across the whole WordPress stack – websites, WooCommerce, plugin development, hosting, performance, security, email and server infrastructure. Through WebDig.DEV, I also develop plugins designed to solve practical problems that come from working with WordPress every day.

That combination has shaped the way I look at WordPress. A website does not end at wp-admin. What happens behind it – DNS, PHP, databases, caching, email, backups, security and the server itself – matters just as much.

I still enjoy WordPress for the same reason I adopted it years ago: it can be simple for the person using it while leaving enormous possibilities for those of us building behind it.

WordPress Origin Story

My journey with WordPress started simply: I needed a better way to build websites that people could actually manage themselves.

At the time, much of my work involved doing things manually. Even a small content change could mean editing code, touching a database or having someone ask me to make the change for them.

WordPress changed that.

What started as another tool in my toolbox gradually became the platform I used for more and more projects. The deeper I went, the more I realised that WordPress was not just about building websites. It was a platform I could extend, adapt and connect to almost anything.

That eventually led me from building websites to developing my own solutions and plugins.

Today, through WebDig.DEV, I build WordPress plugins based on something very simple: problems I encounter in real projects. If I keep running into the same problem, there is probably a better way to solve it – and sometimes that solution becomes a plugin.

So I didn’t really choose WordPress in a single moment.

I just kept using it, building with it and solving problems with it.

And more than 10 years later, I’m still here.
