VizzEx has WordPress roots. Kim Albee, VizzEx’s founder, previously built Genoo — a marketing automation platform that brought enterprise-grade tools to smaller, growth-focused teams, including WordPress users. That work meant years inside the WordPress ecosystem, watching site owners publish consistently, rank on Google, and still fail to generate the authority their content deserved.

When AI citation engines emerged as the new discovery layer, Kim started investigating why well-written, well-ranked WordPress blogs were invisible to ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google’s AI Overviews. The answer was structural — not a content quality problem, but a semantic architecture problem. Posts existed as isolated islands with no traceable relationships between them. AI systems couldn’t trust what they couldn’t map.

Forensic SEO analyst Carolyn Holzman had arrived at the same conclusion independently through years of rigorous indexation research, having discovered that Google’s Helpful Content System measures topical coherence horizontally across an entire domain — not post by post. When Kim and Carolyn connected, it was clear they had been solving the same problem from different directions. VizzEx is the result — built as a WordPress plugin because that’s where the problem lives for most content teams, and where the fix needs to be.
