    WordPress Origin Story

    I started using WordPress in with version 2.6.5 – and I instantly fell in love. Before then it was a struggle to update websites “on-the-fly”, and WordPress made this possible without effort. It ticked my boxes on so many levels: ease of use, Open Source, expandability, community involvement, rapid deployment, the list could go on.

    I’ve quickly invested in my my own server to deploy more WordPress sites for myself, friends and colleagues, and even started a managed WordPress Hosting service as a result (that was back in 2008, before the other guys with major funding turned it into a business). WordPress has a use for every new project I start and is a major part of my life and it keeps getting better with every release.

    I can’t imagine life without WordPress 😉
