    WordPress Origin Story

    After the 2004 US Presidential Election, I decided it was time to “write for another to think” so I downloaded and installed WordPress and belatedly started blogging. Before this, I was only installing it for others and encouraging them to blog.

    I built my first web site in 1995. I’ve been professionally working on the consumer Internet since 1999. I’ve worked at seven companies in those years, including 2009-2012 in which I was as an Automattician at Automattic (WordPress.com).

    Sometimes I blog; sometimes I program; sometimes I photograph.
