Bio

I am a multidisciplinary craftsman, a digital developer, and the creator of Easy Accurate, an all-in-one web framework and automated growth network built specifically for service contractors. Operating out of Bradenton and Sarasota, Florida, my entire career has revolved around bridging the gap between high-precision craftsmanship and modern business automation.

Before writing code, I spent decades refining my eye for detail through unconventional, high-stakes artistry. I worked for years as a professional tattoo artist, a background that taught me extreme patience, a steady hand, and the absolute zero-error threshold required for permanent skin art. I brought that precise, intentional discipline into the physical trades when I founded Tom Landry Painting, channeling my creative background into premium custom home murals, faux finishes, and intricate resin and live-edge artisan wood designs.

WordPress Origin Story

My WordPress Journey: From Wet Paint to Open Source

My relationship with WordPress began out of pure frustration while running my field operations. As the owner of Tom Landry Painting in Florida, I was completely sick of paying tech agencies thousands of dollars a year for generic, slow “contractor websites” that generated zero local leads. I realized that if I wanted a digital tool that actually understood the day-to-day grind of a service business, I was going to have to build it myself.

I intentionally chose WordPress as my foundation because it is the ultimate open-source playground. It gave me the flexible design canvas and block control I needed to build a highly optimized, trade-specific framework without being locked into a proprietary corporate system.

Building the Instant Estimator Engine

The core breakthrough of my WordPress journey was solving the “tire-kicker” problem that plagues every local contractor. I used the WordPress framework to engineer a custom theme integrated with an instant pricing engine.

Frictionless Conversions: Instead of playing endless phone tag, local homeowners could land on my site, plug in their project’s square footage, and immediately get an accurate cost range.

Deep Brand Customization: By leveraging the native WordPress customizer, I made it so any business could seamlessly inject their own brand colors, project videos, custom sections, and pop-up overlays without touching a line of code.

Baking in Local SEO: I built rank-ready landing pages directly into the theme structure, allowing contractors to automatically target local neighborhoods, specific zip codes, and “near me” search terms using schema and automated FAQs.

Scaling to Two Parallel Engines

What started as an internal layout tool for my painting business completely changed how we captured leads. When other local painters, plumbers, and HVAC techs saw my business conversions skyrocket, they asked if they could use the layout. That demand is what officially turned my private tool into Easy Accurate and the EA Business Network.

Today, the original consumer-facing version of Easy Accurate still proudly runs on WordPress because that is where the contracting community lives. It remains the perfect, plugin-friendly ecosystem for owners who want an expandable, easy-to-extend website. However, as the network grew, I also developed a standalone, hand-built PHP/HTML engine for tradesmen who prefer absolute ownership of their stack and want to bypass plugin updates altogether. Whether running on WordPress or raw PHP, both engines tie directly back to our unified estimator engine and local community forums—proving that a tool built by the trades, for the trades, will always out-perform an overpriced agency.
