Bio

Hi, I’m Bishnu Banerjee. I am an affiliate marketer and developer who loves creating tools that make WordPress sites look premium.

I built the Lumina Read & Share plugin because I was tired of ugly, slow progress bars. I wanted something that looked like it belonged on a top-tier tech blog but was easy enough for anyone to use.

My goal is simple: to help you keep your visitors on your site longer. If you have any questions or need a custom feature, feel free to reach out!

Interests

WordPress Plugin Development: Specializing in lightweight, performance-focused plugins (like Lumina) that improve user experience without bloating site speed.

Technical SEO & Core Web Vitals: deeply interested in optimizing website architecture for Google’s ranking algorithms, with a specific focus on “Dwell Time” and page stability.

Algorithmic Trading & FinTech: Experienced in creating advanced technical analysis tools, including custom TradingView (Pine Script) indicators and financial modeling.

Affiliate Marketing Strategy: crafting high-converting content strategies that bridge the gap between organic traffic and revenue generation.

Modern UI/UX Design: Passionate about “Glassmorphism” and minimalist interfaces that make complex tools feel simple and beautiful for the end-user.

WordPress Origin Story

Why I Built Lumina?
I Was Tired of Ugly, Slow Plugins. So I Built My Own.

By Bishnu Banerjee.

As an affiliate marketer and SEO specialist, I know one metric matters more than anything else: Dwell Time.

If a visitor lands on your blog and leaves in 10 seconds, Google thinks your content is bad. If they stay for 5 minutes, Google ranks you higher. It’s that simple.

I wanted a way to encourage my readers to stay. I wanted to give them that psychological “nudge” to keep scrolling until the very end. I looked at what the big tech giants like Medium and Bloomberg were doing, and I saw it: The Reading Progress Bar.

But when I tried to add one to my WordPress site, I was shocked.

The problem with existing plugins:

They were ugly (looked like Windows 95).

They were heavy (loaded massive JavaScript libraries that slowed down my site).

They were complicated (too many settings, not enough results).

I didn’t want to slow down my site just to add a feature. Speed is money in this business.

The Solution: Lumina.

So, I opened my code editor and built Lumina Read & Share from scratch. My goal was simple:

Zero Bloat: It had to use pure Vanilla JavaScript (no jQuery) so it loads instantly.

Modern Design: I used “Glassmorphism” (that cool, blurry background effect) to make it look premium on any theme.

Smart Tech: It had to calculate reading time accurately, just like a human reads.

Lumina isn’t just a plugin; it’s a tool I built for my own business. Now, I am sharing it with you.

If you care about SEO, user experience, and keeping your site lightning-fast, Lumina is for you.
