    Bio

    I’m a software developer, digital marketer, and president of Tortoise and Hare Software. I work with WordPress.org installations mainly in the context of building marketing websites for established businesses in Jacksonville FL and Southeastern United States. I love WordPress for the flexibility and ease of changing your mind on look and feel quickly and it’s dynamite SEO capabilities from auto generated pages for Tags, Categories, etc.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I got involved with WordPress waaay back in the early 2000s. We had a web coding class at my high school back when WordPress was first released and was a groundbreaking technology. I took a long break from WordPress and php in general until about 2017 when I founded Tortoise and Hare Software. I started building business websites for people and naturally WordPress was a terrific fit for marketing websites.
