    WordPress Origin Story

    I first found out about WordPress in 2005 after frequenting a Microsoft/Xbox 360 blog by Larry Hryb (aka “Major Nelson”). He had a drop-down box in the sidebar that let you change the entire design of the site. I was BLOWN away. As soon as I saw this I learned HTML/CSS and purchased the CSS upgrade to have more design control of my blog. A few years later I was designing, developing and selling niche WordPress themes on ThemeForest as a top 10 author. I then launched a handful of WordPress-powered SaaS projects, most recently https://tw-rl.com
