WordPress Origin Story

Remember in 2005 when Dreamhost had three 1-click installs (Joomla, Drupal, and WordPress)? Well, first I tried Joomla, then Drupal, and then WordPress. It was Goldilocks and the 3 Bears – WordPress was the “just right” for me at the time.

I quit my job shortly thereafter, and WordPress has been my full-time job ever since.
