I started The LaTeX Lab after someone in a Facebook group asked if I could convert their Word doc to LaTeX. I did it, they paid me.

Then I built the actual service – We do Word to LaTeX, PDF to LaTeX, thesis formatting, journal templates – IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, the usual suspects. Everything we send back compiles. That’s kind of the whole point.
