    Hi, I’m The AV Coach — a creative media professional, studio engineer, and educator with 20+ years of experience in audiovisual production, broadcast, and event tech. I create tools and tutorials to help content creators, schools, and AV pros simplify workflows and deliver professional results. My plugins are built to solve real-world challenges with clean, efficient code.

    WordPress Origin Story

    As a broadcast engineer and media producer, I’ve spent decades behind the scenes—building studios, directing shows, and helping creators tell their stories with clarity and impact. When I launched The AV Coach to share tutorials and tools with fellow AV professionals and educators, I needed a platform that was flexible, powerful, and community-driven. WordPress checked every box.

    What started as a simple blog and resource hub quickly grew into something more. I began developing custom plugins and simple task automations to solve problems as a way to streamline workflows/data for content creators.
