    Teresa Gobble is a software engineer at WP Engine helping build Faust.js, the headless WordPress framework that strives to make development of headless WordPress sites as easy as possible. When she isn’t building apps, attending hackathons, or exploring WordPress features, she enjoys writing science fiction, dancing, and bird watching.

    WordPress Origin Story

    Hello folks! When 2020 hit, I made a career switch from ten years of psychology research to software engineering. I had made a website for one of my research labs using WordPress a few years prior, and pivoted in that direction shortly after learning the ropes while the world was in lockdown. I’m really happy with my career shift, and my place in the WordPress community!
