As often is the case with those that start a small business, a life circumstance calls you in action. In 2009, my husband got a very aggressive form of leukaemia. When he died, I was 39 with children; my youngest was 2 years old. That’s a recipe for either a mid-life crisis or mid-life renewal! I was determined not to go on welfare and with my children looking to me, I got busy!
