I’ve always been in some tech field or another. I started out after college as a GIS / Remote Sensing Analyst and did that for about 18 years. An opportunity came up to do some web development on a small project. From that time on, I wanted to pursue web development. Fast forward 15 years and I am still loving what I’m doing with web technologies. Everyday there is something new to learn.

WordPress Origin Story

I’m a web developer that’s somewhat new to WordPress. I cut my teeth on Drupal. I used to feel that Drupal could do it all and WordPress was just a blogging platform. A friend of mine was using WordPress and invited me to a Meetup. I was hooked after that. I realized that WordPress could be used in a variety of my projects. And I believe that a developer should be using the right tool for the right job. And so I started adding WordPress to my toolbox. Now I am primarily the WordPress developer in our team. I love every aspect of WordPress specifically the community, documentation, and genuinely helpful people that want to help you succeed on your WordPress journey.
