    Recently moved back to NYC. Grew up kiteboarding and snowboarding. I was an Emmy award winning TV news producer.

    I have since worked on a wide range of unrelated projects with small businesses that really gave me a perspective on how small businesses operate… and how inefficient most businesses are.

    I am a systems and processes guy. While I can see how processes can be fixed, I know it’s best to implement a good system from the beginning.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I have been playing around with HTML/CSS for years. I ran a student television in college and implemented our website overhaul. I became a TV news producer out of college. But always had a side project that involved creating a website with WordPress. But never anything too serious. I’ve always enjoyed designing and love trying and learning new things about HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript. My favorite thing to do is create something I have no idea how to create. This has always pushed my skill set to new levels.

    I briefly did some consulting work with small businesses in various industries after working in TV news and realized small businesses have a problem. This gave me an idea and I jumped into WordPress full force during the pandemic with the Duzz Custom Portal project which took me almost two years to create. I completely rebuilt the plugin four times until it was perfect before submitting it for review. It uses object oriented programming to allow for an unlimited number of customizations.
