    Bio

    Programmer, graphic designer, extensioneer. I’ve been consulting, developing, and maintaining web & software applications for well over ten years. My languages and interests include PHP, Java, JavaScript, RealStudio, 3D rendering/sculpting, retro-computing and digital electronic circuitry design. My latest project is code.gdn.

    Graphic design, 3D rendering, rapid prototyping, LEGOS, play dough, jQuery, PHP, snowboarding, dreaming, sunsets, sunrises, photography, reading about medical breakthroughs, open source, long walks, micro history, disco, pop, classical, rock and roll, ultra lounge, it just goes on and on and on…

    WordPress Origin Story

    I started using WordPress as a software consultant to build custom solutions for my clients back in the days of the Kubrick theme (2005). In 2008 I create “ThemeDreamer”, an Adobe plugin for designing WordPress themes. In 2010 I created “DesktopServer”, and formed a company with partners as “ServerPress” in 2012 where I continued to make design tools for other WordPress-based solution providers, designers, and developers; helping launch thousands of websites each year. I’ve spoken at various WordCamps, and was a co-founder of the San Diego Advanced WordPress Meetup group (and subsequent Facebook group). Today, I continue my endeavors with writing open source software solutions and consulting.
