    Sernicola Labs is a software house based in Milan, Italy. We design and build complex web systems, custom integrations and AI-powered solutions, with WordPress as one of our core platforms. We believe in an open web and in sharing what we learn: that’s why we publish our tools as free, open source plugins. Our latest is AI Friendly, which helps WordPress sites become readable and understandable by AI systems and generative search engines through llms.txt, Markdown versions of pages and structured data.

    WordPress Origin Story

    It all started when we built our first sites for clients on WordPress and realized how far the platform could be pushed beyond a simple CMS. Over the years WordPress became the foundation for e-commerce projects, custom plugins and integrations with external systems and AI services. As generative search started changing how people find information, we wanted WordPress sites to keep up, so we built AI Friendly and released it to the community for free.
