Led by Cody Hardman, we build lightweight, performance-first plugins (like MaxtDesign Cookie Consent and REST API Control) designed to solve real-world problems for agencies, freelancers, and business owners.

WordPress Origin Story

My journey with WordPress started back in 2005, when the web was a much simpler place. For 20 years, I operated as an independent freelancer, watching the platform evolve from a simple blogging tool into the operating system of the modern web. Over those two decades, I saw a growing trend of bloated themes, fragile plugins, and heavy SaaS dependencies.

In 2025, I launched MaxtDesign to be a lightweight, performance-first alternative. Our mission is to bridge the gap between deep, classic WordPress/WooCommerce engineering and cutting-edge AI integrations. We build tools that give businesses complete ownership of their tech stack, stripped of monthly rental fees and unnecessary bloat.
