I’m Matt. I write code for Utopique Plugins and blog on SkyMinds. I’m available for hire on Codeable.

WordPress Origin Story

It all started back in 2003. I switched my static PHP website to WordPress to be able to edit it at will without having tedious tasks such as installing/using text editors and FTP clients. WordPress offered the possibility to be able to edit everything online, with just a browser, which is just dandy.

A few years went by and SkyMinds is now hosted on a dedicated server, still using WordPress. The plugins I wrote were primarily for the website but I was really happy to share them with the community, to the WordPress family.
