Bio

I am currently living in the Philippines in the area that was once the home of Clark Air base. I have been here over three years and plan to stay another few years. I enjoy the low cost standard of living here. My last US based job was at the U-haul headquarters in Phoenix as a C# programmer. I was responsible for maintenance and updates to the application used to schedule reservations. I like the C# syntax structure because it’s very similar to JavaScript, JAVA and PHP.
My job prior to the U-haul position was working as a PHP web programmer for a telecommunications company in Scottsdale, Arizona. I am relatively new to the world of programming. Prior to this I was working on the network/server support side. This allowed me to travel and see parts of the world. I was able to work in Mexico, Jamaica, South America and Hong Kong.
While I was working as a system administrator, I started to learn Visual Basic for a help desk application that integrated with our network. I found programming so fascinating. A programmer is like an artist. There are countless ways to handle most situations in programming.

Interests

I love web design and new technologies. I also love travel. I like to contribute back to the web community as well as my local.
