I’m Shane Rounce, a self-employed website developer, photographer, and designer based in Sheffield, UK. I’ve been developing bespoke WordPress sites for years, focusing on responsive design, AWS infrastructure management, and custom functionality. When I’m not working on the web, I enjoy creating digital art, photography, and exploring the latest in open-source tech.

WordPress Origin Story

I began working with WordPress years ago, drawn to its flexibility and open-source nature. It became the backbone of my web development work, allowing me to create custom themes and plugins that enhance both client and personal projects. Over time, I’ve shifted from using plugins like ACF to creating native WordPress solutions for fields and functionality, adhering to modern standards and performance best practices.
