I fell into WordPress. I was approached by a university friend who wanted me to work on a plugin called Paybox at the time. It was a membership script which had been abandoned by some greek developers and their customers were in real trouble as the Auth server had been dropped. I took the plugin and fixed it then extended it and helped the original customers get back on their feet again. Our new plugin was called ‘Your Members’ and was offered as a premium plugin for people to purchase.

The community that was built over the next three years was amazing and, despite Your Members being put to bed now, I still am in contact with and work for a number of my old customers. Needless to say WordPress provided my income and my community for several years and I am extremely grateful for that. These days I write tutorials, plugins and generally try to help people with their WordPress needs.
