    Founder and Principal Architect at Pluginslab, where I lead a specialized team focused on the intersection of established reliability and bleeding-edge innovation. With a background as Head of Software Engineering at Silicon Dales and stints at iThemes and HelloDev, I have spent over a decade architecting high-scale eCommerce and content platforms. My core focus includes high-performance WooCommerce engineering, AI strategy and integration, native mobile development (Swift/Kotlin), and SaaS product development. I maintain a top-tier presence on Codeable and am an active WordCamp speaker. Based in Porto, Portugal. Spare time photographer and music producer.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I’ve got first involved with WordPress back in mid 2011, taking advantage of the platform for it being easy to create client’s websites and not have to create a complete CMS solution from scratch. It’s been an unbreakable relationship since then. In the meanwhile, mobile came along, and I have been connecting both worlds since 2012, through freelancing at Codeable under Pluginslab, a small agency based in Porto, Portugal. Lately, more closely involved with the community, contributing with code and talks inspired by client work.
