Sam is a digital native with an analogue heart. They’re fascinated by the intersect between creativity, branding, social media, accessibility and storytelling. Sam is happiest when talking to people about their passions, playing Animal Crossing, or finishing a crochet project.

I’ve had a blog in some form or another for over 10 years, but it’s only really in the past 5 that I’ve been involved with the project. Being married to Jono Alderson how can you not. I tagged along with him to a few events and got to know the community. Fell in love with some of the people and found that we all had similar thought processes.

I then joined Yoast and got even closer to the community, how can you not when working with Taco, I helped the Marketing team do their thing! When I left I wasn’t sure if it would be something that I would continue to do, but I had made so many great friends, how could I not.

I continued to help the Marketing team and even helped co-lead the table at contributor day WCEU in Athens. I’m now helping the Photo team by submitting as many photos I can and moderating those that are submitted by others.

If you ever see me at a WordCamps do come and say hi, I’ll be the one in the bright dungarees and yellow hat.
