WordPress Origin Story

Not here as a theme or plugin developer, just a photographer looking for inexpensive access to mediums in order to share my images. Explored creating sites with PHPNuke, OSCommerce, Joomla, Drupal, XOOPS, and concrete5 scripts, then began learning WordPress (2.9) before building my first site iteration (WP 3.1). I chose WordPress due to the the huge development community, early on.
