    Bio

    Born into an entrepreneurial family and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, I’ve had an exciting career in broadcast entertainment with Warner Bros. International Television in Canada, Burbank Headquarters, and Disney. After completing my corporate time in broadcast sales, I moved into digital marketing, working with WordPress Developers.

    Accessibility now plays a significant role in my boutique agency, Sa11y Gurl Digital Accessibility & Marketing (coming soon), where I empower small business owners on the importance of building Accessible websites with authentic marketing through alternative SEO practices. I also have a hybrid role as head of U.S. Sales and Partnerships with AAAtraq, which helps businesses start their Accessibility journey at an affordable price along with Accessibility Insurance to protect them along the way.

    I live in Central California in the mountains with my 8 pound 16 year old dog, Cleo and 90 pound rescue Emma Noel! Fun Fact: My grandfather opened the first movie cinema in Montreal in 1905!

    WordPress Origin Story

    WordCamp, MeetUp, Wapuu, GitHub, and Accessibility were not part of my vocabulary two years ago. Thus began my Accessibility and WordPress journey at the First Northern Los Angeles Accessibility Mega Meet-Up in August 2020. With a passion for learning Accessibility and WordPress, I’ve been on an unimagined and incredible journey. I’ve been on a few winning teams for Knowbility.org’s AIR – Accessible Internet Rally, where volunteers build accessible websites for non-profits! I’ve had the honor to speak at a few Regional WordCamps and Meetups, most recently as a first-time speaker at WordCampUS 2022 to inspire others to start their Accessibility Journey to make a difference in someone’s life.
