    WordPress Origin Story

    March 2020, I had just been laid off from my dead end job, and I had just gotten married. I had no idea what I was going to do. My wife was working part-time as a nanny, and I was the building manager at our apartment. It was lockdown, and I was looking for part-time work I could fit around my other job and that was work from home. I had no programming skills except printing Hello World in a console. WordPress has the tools for anyone to contribute to the web, and a supportive community that welcomes everyone.
