Bio

WordPress support professional with 15+ years of experience in WordPress development, troubleshooting, and
customer support, including more than a decade supporting a commercial WordPress product.

I enjoy solving complex problems, finding root causes, and turning technical issues into clear, practical solutions. My
approach combines technical expertise, systems thinking, and an understanding of customer psychology. I’m also
exploring how AI can make support more efficient without losing the human side of it.

WordPress Origin Story

Back in 2010, I was assigned my first WordPress project. I didn’t know it at the time, but that small project would shape my entire career.

I quickly fell in love with WordPress, not just as a tool for building websites, but as a platform that gave developers, businesses, and creators the freedom to build almost anything.

I started out as a WordPress developer, building and customizing websites, themes, and plugins. By 2013, I had moved into WordPress support, where I discovered another side of the work I genuinely enjoyed: understanding problems, troubleshooting them, and helping people get their websites working again.

Since then, WordPress has been a constant thread throughout my career. More than 90% of the projects I’ve worked on have been WordPress-based, and for more than a decade I’ve worked closely with WordPress products and their users.

Today, my career revolves around WordPress, but my interest has grown beyond simply writing code. I enjoy solving the messy problems that happen around technology: debugging, customer support, technical communication, understanding user behaviour, and figuring out why something isn’t working in the first place.

What started as my first WordPress project in 2010 eventually became a career I never really planned.

And after all these years, I’m still fascinated by the little piece of software that changed the direction of my professional life.
