Bio

I am a WordPress/PHP engineer focused on custom plugins, WooCommerce, Gutenberg, REST APIs, performance and production support. Since 2017, I have worked across independent client delivery, WordPress product support and frontend engineering.

I build structured, maintainable WordPress systems and document the decisions behind them. My recent work includes multilingual content and import pipelines, WooCommerce customisation, performance investigation, technical support and a server-side WebP optimization plugin published in the official WordPress plugin directory.

I am currently open to a full-time remote WordPress engineering role and interested in contributing more consistently to the WordPress open-source ecosystem.

WordPress Origin Story

I started with custom themes and frontend implementation, then moved deeper into the WordPress Plugin API as client requirements became more complex. Debugging plugin conflicts, imports, multilingual data and performance problems taught me that the most valuable work often happens in architecture, data flow and production support rather than visual assembly alone.

Publishing my first plugin in the WordPress.org directory made the open-source responsibility more concrete: code needs secure boundaries, clear documentation, upgrade safety and respect for the people who will maintain it. My long-term goal is to contribute useful plugins, documentation, testing and practical support knowledge back to the community.
