WordPress Plugin Developer who created TwitchPress, Multitool, WordPress Plugin Seed and WordPress Data Importer. I studied PHP and WordPress while being a stay-at-home Dad of four babies. In 2017 I choose to focus on being a freelancer and building my portfolio. I want to be known in the WP community for me and not a business logo or title.

WordPress Origin Story

WordPress caught my eye the moment I left University and I was captivated by its obvious success. I somehow had the instinct to recognize a market that had room for more developers and took a risk by spending hundreds of hours creating my first plugin. A lot of that time included studying the WP core and re-developing the plugin each time I learned that my approach was rubbish.

I worked hard, possibly too hard, making £25,000 with my first premium plugin and then struggling because I had no structure to my service. High demand turned to unhappy customers, turned to bad reviews and I learned some great lessons from it all. I reversed my operation, focused on being a stay-at-home Dad to my four children and slowly created a strategy.

In 2017 I closed everything and started fresh. I feel like I’m re-discovering WordPress and finally contributing its community.
