WordPress Origin Story

I used to use Joomla but it felt a lot like coding in Joomla instead of PHP and I just didn’t really like that anymore, and there were some other things going on that left a bad taste in my mouth. So I started converting my sites to WordPress and learned how to use it and used it for new sites going forward. I took over maintenance of an open source standalone software called Million Dollar Script in 2010 and worked on converting it into a WordPress plugin in my spare time. I since have been coding a lot of WordPress plugins and setting and customizing a lot of sites for people all over the world.
