    I’m a WordPress and PHP developer with 25+ years of experience building, repairing, and maintaining websites, plugins, and legacy web applications.

    My work usually sits where practical development meets real business problems: custom plugin features, admin settings screens, WooCommerce and membership workflows, migrations, performance fixes, broken-site recovery, and long-term maintenance for older PHP systems.

    I’m especially comfortable taking messy or under-documented projects, finding the real failure point, and turning that into a small, testable fix or a clear plan.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I came to WordPress after years of building sites with Joomla and custom PHP. Joomla increasingly felt like I was coding around the system instead of working directly with PHP, so I started moving my own sites to WordPress and using it for new client work.

    In 2010 I took over maintenance of an open source standalone PHP application called Million Dollar Script, then began converting that kind of functionality into WordPress plugin form in my spare time. Since then I’ve built and customized many WordPress plugins, settings screens, integrations, and client sites for people around the world.

    That path shaped how I work: I like WordPress when it stays practical, maintainable, and close to the actual problem a site owner needs solved.
