    Bio

    I am an Electrical Engineer, I still do some electronics but mostly work on software, networks, websites, digital photography etc. My interests include astronomy, 3d printing and photography.

    WordPress Origin Story

    Over the years I have used various website methodologies, from raw html through wml, looked at joomla but was underwhelmed by their communities security awareness, adopted WordPress as my default technology. As well as conventional brochure and catalogue websites I also use WordPress as an applications platform, using the available resources of database + user management + pages etc + php and javascript to create various applications that support genealogy, surveys and contests.
