My WordPress Origin Story

My journey into web development started with a simple problem: my first few clients needed more than just a static brochure site—they needed control. I was tired of delivering a beautiful design only to have the client call me back for every single text change.

In 2012, I discovered WordPress. What started as a simple blog platform turned into a revelation. The open-source spirit and the immense community immediately drew me in. I realized I wasn’t just building a website; I was giving the user a powerful, flexible tool.

I quickly moved from customizing themes to designing them from scratch and, eventually, diving deep into PHP to develop custom plugins. My ‘Aha!’ moment came when I developed a lightweight custom post type manager that streamlined a client’s e-commerce inventory.

Now, as a dedicated WordPress Designer and Plugin Developer, I focus on harnessing the platform’s power to create solutions that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also maintainable, secure, and truly empower the people who use them every day. WordPress isn’t just a CMS for me—it’s the foundation for limitless creativity and problem-solving.
