    Bio

Senior WordPress & Full Stack Developer with 7+ years of experience, based in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, Philippines. I build fast, secure, SEO-ready WordPress sites — custom themes and plugins, ACF, Elementor, Divi, WooCommerce-style integrations, and headless WordPress with Next.js — plus custom Laravel/Livewire web apps when a project needs more than a website.

I work remotely with medical and specialist practices, agencies, and BPOs across Australia, the UK, and the US, and run Mactan Digital, a small web development studio. I also automate maintenance and reporting workflows with n8n and use AI-assisted tooling (Claude Code, OpenAI Codex) in my development process.

    WordPress Origin Story

I started building WordPress sites professionally in 2019 right after finishing my BS in Information Technology, joining Proweaver as a WordPress developer. WordPress was the fastest way to ship real, useful websites for clients, and it taught me PHP, theme and plugin development, performance tuning, and security hardening in a hurry. Since then I’ve moved into front-end engineering, Laravel apps, and headless WordPress with Next.js — but WordPress is still the core of what I do.
