    WordPress Origin Story

    I started blogging on Xanga.com. It was a great blogging community through which I made many international friends. However, I decided I’d outgrown Xanga and wanted a site that was my own. I researched other blogging sites including WordPress.com. However, I settled on a self-hosted installation because of the plugins. It’s been worth it. I love how I can think of a customization I need and search the plugin directory. Up to now, I’ve always found a plugin that does what I needed. I love the customization possibilities.

    As a result of my WordPress experience, I now help others build WordPress sites. It’s been great to learn and grow with WordPress.
