    Dutch web designer and YouTuber. I make videos for professionals on how to build websites, mixing design thinking with how AI fits into that work now.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I studied Communication and Multimedia Design, basically a mix of UX, UI, branding, and marketing. That background is where I got introduced to WordPress, but it wasn’t until 2018 that I actually started building client sites in Elementor.

    I’ve always loved presenting and making videos, even in school when it wasn’t part of the assignment. That turned into a Dutch YouTube channel first, then in 2019 I started over in English to share what I was learning about building websites with my audience.

    These days AI has made it realistic to actually build my own tools instead of just wishing they existed. So now, when something in my workflow keeps bugging me, I build a plugin to fix it and share the process with my audience. My first one, Rino’s Toolkit for Elementor, I built live on stream in front of my audience, then had a senior developer review every file before it went into the WordPress repository. More plugins are on the way.
