Software developer for the last 12-ish years. Former WP Engine dev and WP Performance enthusiast. Founder of Kneejerk Development.

WordPress Origin Story

I started working in the small business communities of Oregon (Portland & Eugene areas) making affordable websites for all types of folks trying to start a business. During that period I had a lot of potential clients ask me if I “do WordPress” — to which (without having a clue what it was) I readily replied “Yeah, of course! I’m silly with it!”. Since then I’ve written many things for WordPress (plugins & themes), partaken in many WordCamps, even tried to give a talk @ a WordCamp a while back (although it was a pretty broad topic – even the title included “the kitchen sink”).

I’ve written code that is used on hundreds of thousands of sites, custom code that makes small businesses successful, and really enjoy the vibrant, wonderful people of the WP Community.

I just started a dev agency called Kneejerk Development with the community in mind. My plugins are intended to be singular in purpose, well written, easy to use, but most of all – free =]
