    WordPress Origin Story

    My journey with WordPress started during my time at JMD Web, a Netherlands-based agency. Instead of just building standard websites, I was thrown straight into the deep end of core customization—engineering over 50 custom WordPress plugins from scratch to meet diverse client needs. That intensive experience gave me a deep, foundational understanding of the WordPress ecosystem, plugin architecture, and hooks system. It transformed me from a developer who just used WordPress into a developer who builds for WordPress, paving the way for the enterprise-level PHP and Laravel architecture I handle today.
