    WordPress Origin Story

    Back in the early days, I was just another curious mind exploring the vast ocean of the internet. My first encounter with web development was through W3Schools, where I dipped my toes into HTML and CSS. From there, I wandered through tutorial websites, tried my hand at site builders, and slowly started connecting the dots.

    And then—Bang! In 2011, everything changed.

    That’s when I stumbled upon WordPress.org, and it was like finding the missing piece of a puzzle I didn’t even know I was building. I remember installing WordPress for the first time and being amazed by how much power it gave me—without having to reinvent the wheel. Suddenly, I could build dynamic, professional websites that looked and felt legit.

    From that moment on, I was hooked.

    I started creating site after site, experimenting, learning, and improving with each one. Soon, it wasn’t just a hobby—it became a full-time passion. I built a business around WordPress, offering solutions, creating plugins, customizing themes, and helping others bring their ideas to life online.

    But it didn’t stop there.

    As my skills grew, so did my desire to give back to the community that gave me so much. I began contributing to the WordPress project, whether through code, support, translations, or organizing. I attended WordCamps, soaked in the knowledge, shared my experiences, and eventually, I found myself organizing WordCamps too—bringing the local community together, one event at a time.

    Along the way, I had the privilege of working with incredibly talented people from all around the world. These collaborations weren’t just projects—they became friendships. Real connections built through a shared love of open-source, creativity, and community.

    And even after all these years, through the evolution of tech, trends, and tools—I still use WordPress. It’s not just a CMS to me—it’s been a gateway to growth, a platform for connection, and a cornerstone of my career.
