    Established in 2002, Rareview is a globally distributed creative agency headquartered in the surfing town of San Clemente, CA.

    WordPress Origin Story

    We’ve been involved with WordPress for 20+ years. Prior to WordPress, all of our principals built websites by hand with clever tactics to trick browser displays, leverage global variables with server-side includes, and wire databases to the web.

    WordPress changed everything. It allowed non-technical people to have a voice online. It democratized publishing for small businesses and enterprise organizations alike.

    Today Rareview is committed to the principles of Five for the Future. We advocate for WordPress to digital analysts, the press, and the brand managers we serve.
