I am a curious person who always likes to learn and improve my knowledge. Almost everything I learned about WordPress has been self-taught. I believe I can discover something new every day.

I enjoy learning about new technologies and new features. Especially what improves the experience with WordPress, like UX, hosting, performance, digital security, and marketing conversion.

I believe that kindness attracts kindness. I like kind and respectful people; this is the most important thing for me, regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, economic status and other diverse backgrounds.

Perhaps because of this, I am not a fan of social networks. I’m not too fond of the toxic environment of some networks. Currently, I pretty much only use LinkedIn.

WordPress Origin Story

In 1996, I started my Psychology graduation, which I completed in 2002. During this period, I discovered the internet in the technology labs of the college. So, there I learned about HTML, CSS and hosting my first websites. Until I found out my first CMS, Joomla. And I discovered WordPress in 2006.

I split myself between working as a psychologist and doing freelance works for creating websites for a long time. Until 2016, when I chose working with WordPress as my main job.

In 2018, I started to contribute to the WordPress community. Firstly, in the Brazilian WordPress Support Forum, where I answered more than 2,000 topics. At this moment, I contribute translating plugins to Brazilian Portuguese too.
